Camping in Mackay

We have done quite a lot of camping recently, because it is so expensive to stay in motels every time we have to go to Mackay for football training or matches and the weather is so good then why not?! It is really cheap, actually a dollar more than it costs to put Ben into kennels each time! The campsite is nice with showers and a BBQ kitchen area and we have a lot of fun being happy campers!

I have been getting lots of work at the council and hospital, just need to remember where I am when I answer the phone!

While Andy was working away from the mine at Moranbah Trade Services, he met Ian who is from Hastings in England. He arrived in May with his family and they are on a four year visa like us. We have got to know Ian, Carol and their children Emma and Louis really well. It is nice to be able to speak to some fellow-Brits who understand our culture (and our language!) and those little difficulties and home-sickness we sometimes face living in a different country!
